Primo Global Holdings Co.,Ltd. conducted environmental conservation activities along the Yodo River embankment, combining a community clean-up with environmental education. The morning session involved litter collection and the recovery of microplastics, while the afternoon featured a lecture and an upcycling workshop.
Environmental conservation activities around the Yodo River embankment, organized through the cross-company CSR initiative PRIMO RING PROJECT operated by Primo Global Holdings Co.,Ltd., were held on 6 October 2026. Participants conducted a community clean-up with members from inside and outside the company, collected microplastics while learning about the river's history and ecosystem, and continued the recovery effort.
In the latter part of the morning session, an “Interesting Litter Contest” was also held to encourage interaction among participants and raise interest in the local community and environmental conservation. In the afternoon, a lecture by the chair of the Friends of the Osaka Museum of Natural History covered the sources of marine litter and its impact on the ocean via the Yodo River, helping participants understand the need to reduce its generation.
Later, participants were given an opportunity to consider the reuse of resources through an upcycling workshop in which they made sacoche bags from fabric offcuts. Through the clean-up, lecture and workshop, participants experienced practical approaches to environmental issues.
The company indicated that it intends to continue environmental conservation activities through the PRIMO RING PROJECT while maintaining strong ties with the local community.
