高千穂交易 announced that it will expand its pilot supply chain development service for Japanese companies seeking to enter India to new customers. Going forward, it will assess support covering the selection of potential local companies, component sourcing, quality control, logistics and sales channels.
高千穂交易 (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) announced on the 29th that it will expand to new customers its pilot supply chain development service supporting Japanese companies' entry into India and expansion of their local operations. The company plans to expand its paid offering to date, verify market needs and commercial viability, and then launch the service formally.
From November 2025, the company plans to visit approximately 15 cities in India, meet with more than 100 companies and conduct on-site inspections. It will select local manufacturing and component supply companies based on customers' product specifications, quality standards and production volumes.
The target areas include EMS, PCBs and FPCs, semiconductors, metal processing, sheet metal, plastic molding, cables and surface treatment. In addition to identifying and comparing potential companies, the service will support supply chain design covering component sourcing, quality control, logistics and sales channels.
While the importance of local production and sourcing is increasing in India against the backdrop of Make in India, Japanese companies face the challenge of ensuring suppliers' quality standards and increasing local sourcing rates. 高千穂交易 will develop the scope of support and fee structure through the pilot program.
