YE DIGITAL revised its consolidated ordinary profit for the first half from the previous forecast of ¥850 million to ¥600 million, compared with ¥700 million in the same period of the previous year. The full-year ordinary profit forecast remains unchanged, while the company plans an interim dividend of ¥15 per share and a year-end dividend of ¥15, for a total of ¥30.
According to the earnings revision announced after the market close on 18 September, YE DIGITAL's consolidated ordinary profit for the first half of the current fiscal year is expected to be ¥600 million, below the previous forecast of ¥850 million. The figure was ¥700 million in the same period of the previous year. The company also left its full-year consolidated earnings forecast unchanged at ¥2.3 billion.
The revised figures for the first half of the current fiscal year are revenue of ¥9,500 million, operating profit of ¥550 million, ordinary profit of ¥600 million and net profit of ¥400 million. Revised earnings per share are expected to be ¥22.2, while the interim and year-end dividends are each forecast at ¥15 per share, for a total of ¥30.
The company said that although demand for its logistics DX business remains strong, the timing of contract signings for highly profitable projects was pushed back from initial expectations. As a result, revenue and each profit measure are expected to fall below the previous forecasts. In light of the outlook and progress during the interim period, the company plans to proceed without resetting its full-year forecasts.
Compared with the previous fiscal year, revenue, ordinary profit, net profit and revised earnings per share for the current fiscal year are all expected to increase. The full-year dividend forecast remains unchanged, with dividends of ¥15 per share at the interim and year-end periods, for an annual total of ¥30.
