アイシン unveiled its in-cabin AI “LBS Agent” at ITS World Congress 2026 in Gangneung, South Korea, showing a vision of information exchange with a vehicle-side AI agent and proposing applications for the software-defined vehicle era.
アイシン has set up its own booth at ITS World Congress 2026 in Gangneung, South Korea, where it is exhibiting AI-based applications. The company is presenting advances centered on areas including vehicle motion control and in-cabin monitoring.
LBS Agent was presented as a conversational AI agent that combines location-based services with generative AI to infer user preferences and set navigation routes. A function for identifying safe-driving information from in-cabin camera footage was also introduced.
As a new function, the company proposed an approach in which the in-cabin AI agent exchanges information with the vehicle-side AI agent. In coordination with software-defined vehicles, the in-cabin AI agent receives monitoring and safety information, presenting a vision of safer and more secure mobility.
At present, instrument-panel HMI and IVI HMI are often displayed separately, and the company expressed the view that information should ideally be provided within a single unified framework. Integrating in-cabin information through an AI agent could improve adaptability across OEMs.
The exhibition booth also featured demonstrations and introductions of low-power cameras using neuromorphic sensing, in-cabin monitoring systems, integrated control technologies and the “みちログ” road maintenance support service. The company also referred to presentations of research papers.
