A special section, “BIC RECORDS AKIBA by Face Records,” created through a collaboration between Face Records and FTF, will open inside Bic Camera AKIBA, offering an introductory record-buying experience from 19 September.
BIC RECORDS AKIBA by Face Records is a special section inside the audio section on the 3rd floor of Bic Camera AKIBA. With the support of Face Records, it will offer an interactive used-record shopping experience. The opening date is 19 September 2026, and the section aims to provide a treasure-hunt experience that encourages visitors to start collecting records.
The section will primarily carry approximately 5,000–6,000 used records, including a large selection of affordable records such as ¥480 EPs and ¥980 LPs. It will also introduce a range of record players priced from the ¥10,000 range, supporting first-time buyers.
The section will work with the Face Records Shibuya store to provide an entry point into deeper music culture. The collaboration combines Bic Camera’s expertise in operating electronics retail stores with the specialist record-store management knowledge of Face Records.
