DAIHEN CORPORATION has announced plans to increase EMS orders to ¥45 billion in fiscal 2026. The storage battery market is expected to expand, particularly for grid-scale applications, and the company aims to supply equipment to more than 70 storage facilities.
Against a backdrop of the expanding adoption of renewable energy and efforts to stabilize the power grid, DAIHEN CORPORATION announced that it aims to expand orders for its EMS business. The grid-scale battery market in fiscal 2026 is expected to be approximately 1.8 times the previous fiscal year's level, and the company has set a target of ¥45 billion in orders.
The company plans to strengthen its supply structure for storage battery packages and expand its lineup, including storage batteries, transformers and power conditioners. It expects orders of ¥55 billion in fiscal 2027 and ¥70 billion in fiscal 2030.
For storage battery production, the company will increase production capacity for grid-scale battery packages to approximately four times the current level and expand supplies, primarily of equipment for storage facilities featuring low-noise, compact designs and certified under JC-STAR.
The company is developing new packages, including solar-plus-storage configurations, and plans to supply equipment to more than 70 storage facilities in fiscal 2026 through a supply agreement with Sun Village.
