ETSグループ raised its ordinary profit forecast for the current fiscal year. Ordinary profit for the 3Q cumulative period rose 61.6% year on year to ¥876 million, prompting the company to raise its full-year outlook from the previous forecast.
ETSグループ disclosed its earnings summary report, announcing that consolidated ordinary profit for the third-quarter cumulative period of the fiscal year ending September 2026, covering October 2025 to June 2026, rose 61.6% year on year to ¥876 million.
At the same time, it revised its full-year ordinary profit forecast upward from ¥747 million to ¥988 million. The revised forecast implies earnings growth of approximately 43.2%, higher than under the previous forecast.
The company cited improved profit margins on certain power-related construction projects in its electrical construction segment, as well as sales and profit in its real estate-related business tracking in line with expectations, as reasons for the upward revision. It explained that, as a result, sales are expected to increase slightly, while forecasts for operating profit, ordinary profit and net income attributable to owners of the parent are expected to exceed the previous forecasts.
For the latest three-month period, April-June, or the 3Q, consolidated ordinary profit fell 1.8% year on year to ¥167 million, while the operating margin on sales improved from 5.9% in the year-earlier period to 7.4%.
