Apple may announce new products on three consecutive days this week. The expected lineup is an OLED iPad mini on the first day, an M6 iMac and MacBook Pro on the second, and a touch-enabled MacBook Pro on the final day.
Bloomberg's Mark Gurman expects Apple to unveil an OLED iPad mini, followed by an M6 iMac and MacBook Pro, and finally its first touch-enabled MacBook Pro over three days. Apple has used a similar announcement format in the past, and may follow the same sequence this time. Reports currently indicate that the new products are likely to be announced over three days, from 26 to 28 October U.S. time.
A hands-on event is scheduled in Los Angeles from 2:00 a.m. Japan time on 29 October. Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice president of marketing, has posted a message hinting at the arrival of new products. One view is that the three-day sequence will consist of an OLED iPad mini, an M6 iMac and MacBook Pro, and a touch-enabled MacBook Pro on the final day. In October 2024, Apple announced its M4 Mac lineup over three days and held a hands-on event on the final day. It has been suggested that a similar schedule may be repeated.
A similar sequence was also seen this March, when Apple announced new iPhone, iPad and Mac products over three days and held a hands-on event featuring the actual devices on the final day. If Gurman's prediction is correct, the product announcements may begin before the hands-on event at 2:00 a.m. on the 29th, with the first touch-enabled MacBook Pro potentially bringing the three-day sequence to a close.
