Goldwin Inc. has launched Circular Action, a circular project aimed at reducing waste, beginning with the collection and reuse of uniforms worn by Japan’s national freestyle skiing team to create upcycled products. The uniforms were supplied from the 2018–19 season onward. Items worn by moguls athletes are being adapted into new products, with not only the garments themselves but also parts such as hoods being reused.
The upcycled product line comprises 7 styles, including tote bags, sacoche bags and goggle cases. The products will be sold at GRAVITY KANDA from 2010 October 15 to 25, at prices of approximately ¥7,150 to ¥8,250. A portion of sales will be donated to the Ski Association of Japan (SAJ) for athlete support.
