パルマ has revised its unconsolidated ordinary income forecast for the current fiscal year downward from ¥350 million to ¥230 million. Second-half ordinary income has also been substantially reduced from ¥250 million to ¥130 million.
パルマ announced during the afternoon session on 18 September that it had revised its unconsolidated ordinary income forecast for the current fiscal year from the previous forecast of ¥350 million to ¥230 million, reducing the year-on-year growth rate from the previous forecast of 87.2% to 25.1%.
Based on the downward revision to the full-year forecast, second-half ordinary income for April-September is also expected to be reduced by 46.2%, from the previous forecast of ¥250 million to ¥130 million, with the growth rate narrowing from 85.9% to flat.
The company cited solid performance in its business solutions services, but said that although rental earnings improved in its turnkey solutions business, including rental operations, following a review of rent settings, occupancy rates at some properties fell below plan due to the impact of rising prices.
Higher costs, including procurement costs for development-type real estate, and delays in the sale of outdoor containers compared with the initial assumptions are also expected to push the recognition of revenue and profit for the current fiscal year into the following fiscal year, making a downward revision to the full-year forecast unavoidable.
