丸山製作所 has revised its ordinary profit forecast for the current fiscal year downward. Consolidated ordinary profit is expected to come in at ¥1.6 billion, while net profit is expected to be sharply revised upward to ¥3.8 billion.
丸山製作所 announced on 11 September 2026 that it would revise its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the current fiscal year downward from the previous forecast of ¥1.75 billion to ¥1.6 billion. Ordinary profit was ¥1.17 billion in the previous fiscal year, and the rate of profit growth is expected to narrow.
At the same time, consolidated net profit for the full fiscal year is expected to be sharply revised upward from the previous forecast of ¥1.1 billion to ¥3.8 billion, compared with ¥740 million in the previous fiscal year. The rate of profit growth is expected to expand significantly.
For the second-half outlook, ordinary profit for the April–September period is expected to decline year on year after being reduced from the previous forecast of ¥980 million to ¥830 million.
The revision is attributed to the receipt of a one-time payment of approximately US$30 million in connection with amendments to a major OEM contract, with approximately ¥4.6 billion expected to be recorded as extraordinary income. The accounting treatment incorporates the impact of tax expenses and other items, although certain aspects remain under discussion with the audit firm. The company said it would not revise its dividend forecast at this time.
