株式会社TKC has announced that it has obtained a patent for “Drop Journal Entry,” an AI-powered feature. The patent number is 7931241, and it was registered on 28 September 2026.
“Drop Journal Entry” automatically processes invoice data such as PDFs using AI simply by dragging and dropping it into the journal-entry input screen, after which the journal entry is displayed. In addition, documents imported by dragging and dropping are automatically saved as supporting documents, and the journal-entry details are automatically recorded in accordance with search requirements. This is expected to reduce the workload involved in accounting operations.
The integrated accounting information systems covered by the patent, FX4 Cloud and FX5 Cloud, are scheduled to include this feature. They are expected to improve accounting efficiency and speed up management decision-making through integration with Excel and bank data, support for digital invoices, and performance management by department.
TKC is a company headquartered in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. The announcement indicates that the company is strengthening its cloud-based accounting solutions.
