MTG announced its earnings report for the third quarter of the fiscal year ending September 2026. Revenue was ¥102.486 billion, up 46.3% year on year, while operating income was ¥12.667 billion, ordinary income was ¥12.577 billion, and net income attributable to owners of the parent was ¥9.739 billion, up 67.7% year on year. Under the new full-year forecasts, revenue was raised from ¥135 billion to ¥142 billion, operating income from ¥15 billion to ¥16 billion, ordinary income from ¥15 billion to ¥16 billion, and net income from ¥10 billion to ¥11 billion. The company cited sales of its core brands ReFa, SIXPAD and ReD significantly exceeding expectations, as well as higher gross profit resulting from revenue growth and stronger brand equity, as the reasons for the upward revisions.
As measured by progress against the full-year forecasts, revenue reached 72.2%, operating income 79.2%, ordinary income 78.6%, and net income 88.5%. The company highlighted the particularly rapid progress in net income.
As part of the changes to the shareholder benefits program, the dividend forecast was also revised upward. The final dividend for the fiscal year ending September 2026 will be ¥37, an increase of ¥4 from the previous forecast of ¥33. As the company pays dividends only at the fiscal year-end, the annual dividend will also be ¥37.
