Kioxia Holdings set its first dividend at ¥90 per share for the interim period. While forecasting net profit of ¥3.5578 trillion for the next fiscal year, driven by strong AI-related demand, it also unveiled plans to integrate its Iwate Kitakami plant and strengthen production capacity.
Kioxia Holdings announced on the 30th that it had set an interim dividend of ¥90 per share. This will be the company’s first interim dividend since listing.
The company forecast consolidated net profit of ¥3.5578 trillion for the April–December 2026 period, approximately 24 times the year-earlier figure. It also said it plans to increase shareholder returns, supported by improved financial soundness.
Second-quarter sales (July–September 2026) were strong at ¥2.48 trillion, up ¥712.9 billion from the previous quarter, supported by robust data-center demand, higher average selling prices and increased shipments on a memory-capacity basis.
The company announced that it will absorb its consolidated subsidiary’s Iwate Kitakami plant in an absorption-type merger effective 1 April next year. The Kitakami plant is scheduled to begin operations at its third manufacturing building during fiscal 2029, with the aim of strengthening production capacity amid expanding demand from AI data centers.
