株式会社本質 has launched an education program for SES companies and systems integrators that develops existing engineers into FDEs capable of handling AI projects from proposal through implementation. 株式会社本質, which provides AX/DX support, has launched its “FDE Development Program” for SES companies and systems integrators. The program develops existing engineers into “FDEs (Forward Deployed Engineers)” capable of identifying clients’ operational challenges and handling AI adoption from proposal and implementation through to establishment.
The program features an integrated curriculum covering the process from proposal through implementation, along with practical training centered on Claude-based tools. It provides four stages of development, from participation by all engineers through selection of FDE candidates, and is available in both online and in-person formats for groups of at least 3 people.
The fees are structured across four stages, STEP1 through STEP4. Indicative costs per person are from ¥50,000 for STEP1, ¥200,000 for STEP2, ¥300,000 for STEP3 and ¥400,000 for STEP4.
The program has also been designed with the requirements of the Human Resources Development Support Subsidy in mind, and up to 75% of eligible training expenses may be subsidized in some cases. The implementation process begins with a free consultation, followed by decisions on the participants, course, delivery format and schedule, curriculum design and quotation, and then program launch.
Representative Director Wada Tatsuko (和田達子) said the company aims to work alongside engineers to maximize their latent capabilities, adding that its role is to establish a pathway for FDE development.
