HOUSEI has established a new organization, FDE (Forward Deployed Engineer), to support customer companies from the planning stage through the implementation and adoption of generative AI at their operations. Going forward, the company plans to promote implementation primarily among existing customers and accumulate expertise through collaboration with its own product.
Technology company HOUSEI Inc. announced that it has established a specialized FDE organization to support customer companies from the planning stage through the implementation and adoption of generative AI. FDE is designed to support AI use tailored to customers' operations, with engineers working directly on site.
The move comes as the use of generative AI in business operations by Japanese companies is rapidly expanding, while challenges including PoCs becoming stalled at the pilot stage and a shortage of skilled personnel have been identified. The establishment of FDE aims to address these challenges. FDE will operate with a structure that addresses on-site issues alongside customers.
For its future rollout, HOUSEI plans to promote FDE implementation primarily among existing customers and strengthen collaboration with its product, imprai, applying insights gained in the field to product improvements. Over the medium term, the company plans to systematize its expertise and develop it into industry-specific solutions.
HOUSEI Inc. is headquartered in Kanda-Nishikicho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and its Representative Director and President is Tanaga Jun (多名賀淳). The company is strengthening its AI and DX capabilities, with media, product, and DX-related businesses as its main areas of operation.
