Zenken has launched a new service, ZenNxt Labs, to provide highly skilled IT professionals in India to Japanese companies in team-based arrangements. Its Indian subsidiary hires candidates and forms development teams to deliver outsourced development for Japanese companies.
Zenken launched a new service in August to provide Japanese companies with teams of highly skilled IT professionals in India. The service recruits candidates in India and assembles development teams in fields such as AI, data science and cybersecurity, where the talent pool in Japan is limited.
The new service is called ZenNxt Labs (ゼンネクストラボ). Zenken's Indian subsidiary handles the initial hiring, then gradually expands the teams based on demand. This enables Japanese companies to pursue development through an Indian base while keeping risks under control.
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry forecasts that Japan could face a shortage of up to approximately 790,000 IT professionals by 2030. As competition for highly specialised talent intensifies, more companies may consider establishing overseas development bases.
