From 7 to 9 October 2026, the 29th Manufacturing World Osaka ~ Manufacturing NEXT ~ was held at INTEX Osaka, attracting many visitors to the booth of TECHNO HORIZON CO.,LTD. The booth's theme was physical AI / edge AI, and a series of demonstrations showed how a camera recognizes an object, AI understands the operation, and a machine moves. Visitors showed growing interest in detecting work errors and automating visual inspections in the field, reflecting a range of needs.
Three demonstrations were presented: a system in which a camera captures an object's face or color and a moving mechanism responds; a demonstration in which video is analyzed and the system responds verbally to instructions; and a demonstration in which people and objects are tracked after the user specifies what to search for in text. These were enabled by combining the company's AI-BOX, equipped with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin 64GB, with Meta's SAM3.
Visitors' interest focused on automating visual inspections and detecting work errors, and inquiries were received from a wide range of fields, including healthcare, construction, transportation and disaster prevention, in addition to manufacturing. Regarding future exhibitions and development plans, the company stated that it would use visitors' feedback to update the content of its next exhibition. TECHNO HORIZON CO.,LTD. plans to change its name to ELMO Co., Ltd. on 1 January 2027, and indicated that its exhibition in Nagoya would also be held under the ELMO name.
