The Special Appearance Package, a limited-edition Lexus IS, has been announced as a 2027 model and is scheduled to go on sale in North America in a limited run of 350 units. It features a new Envious green exterior color and exclusive equipment.
On 29 August, Lexus announced the 2027 Special Appearance Package, a limited-edition model of the IS, at the final performance of the IS 25th Anniversary Legacy Tour in Miami, Florida.
Production will be limited to 350 units for the North American market. The model is positioned as the culmination of the IS’s history.
The exterior adopts a new green color named Envious. Based on the IS 350 F SPORT, it comes standard with 19-inch black-painted BBS forged aluminum wheels.
The interior combines black NuLuxe trim with Ultrasuede inserts. Green stitching echoing the exterior color and satin-chrome-finish trim add a premium touch.
The powertrain is a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine producing 311 ps and 280 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel-drive models pair it with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential, while all-wheel-drive models use a 6-speed automatic transmission. Adaptive Variable Suspension and Drive Mode Select are standard. The Technology Package, which integrates Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist and Front Cross-Traffic Alert, is also included as part of the safety equipment. Pricing and detailed specifications will be announced at a later date, and the model is expected to attract significant market attention given its exclusive equipment and limited production run of 350 units.
