Effective 1 November 2026, Sukesan appointed Ito Hideki (伊藤 英記) as representative director and president, while current president Sakita Haruyoshi (崎田 晴義) became chairman of the board on the same date. Sakita Haruyoshi (崎田 晴義) became president in April 2026, so the presidency will change after 7 months.
Sukesan entered the Skylark Holdings group in October 2024 and has expanded its store network into the Kanto and Kansai regions and, subsequently, overseas. This personnel change is believed to be intended to establish a structure capable of advancing the expansion strategy together with frontline operations.
Experts say the appointment of Ito Hideki (伊藤 英記), who knows Sukesan's frontline operations rather than coming from Skylark Holdings, is intended to support the expansion of domestic store openings, quality stabilisation and employee development from the operational level. Attention will now focus on progress in overseas expansion, including Taiwan.
