テス・エンジニアリング has secured an order from クラダシ・インベストメント2号 for the installation of a grid-scale battery storage facility with a capacity of approximately 8.2 MWh. The order forms part of the TESS Group’s grid-scale battery storage business and will be pursued as a focus area under the TX2030 medium-term plan.
テスホールディングス announced that its consolidated subsidiary, テス・エンジニアリング株式会社, has secured an order from 合同会社クラダシ・インベストメント2号 for installation work on a grid-scale battery storage facility. The project includes the installation of battery storage equipment to be operated by クラダシ・インベストメント2号, with a capacity of approximately 8.2 MWh.
Grid-scale battery storage facilities are battery systems connected directly to the power grid and installed to help stabilize the grid as the use of renewable energy expands. The TESS Group handles the full process in-house, from site development and financing studies to the design, procurement and construction of storage facilities, maintenance, and operations management, including aggregation, enabling it to provide a one-stop service.
The group has identified this as one of the focus business areas under TX2030, its medium-term management plan formulated and announced in 2024. It has set a medium-term target of cumulative installed capacity of 700 MW by 2030 and intends to continue actively pursuing the business.
This matter reports the direct fact that an order was received for installation work on a storage facility, as well as the broader scope of the business and its positioning under the medium-term plan.
