IBJ's interim results for the fiscal year ending December 2026 showed substantial increases in revenue and operating profit, mainly due to Decorte Holdings becoming a consolidated subsidiary, while growth in net income was more limited.
According to the interim results announced on 14 August 2026, IBJ achieved substantial increases in revenue and profit, with revenue rising 44.3% year on year to ¥14.0 billion and operating profit increasing 38.7% to ¥2.4 billion. However, net income rose only 13.0% year on year to ¥1.2 billion, affected by an impairment loss on investment securities.
The company is said to have driven the improvement in its results mainly by making Decorte Holdings a consolidated subsidiary. This improved the profit structure for the interim period, although some observers have noted that growth in net income slowed.
Results over the past 12 quarters have generally remained flat, while changes in financial indicators include a decline in net profit margin and limited EPS growth, as well as a lower equity ratio and an increase in interest-bearing debt.
