SAXA,Inc. announced that it will launch the GF2100 server for business customers with standard ransomware protection. The successor to the GF2000 will also be available in a Plus+ model featuring a 7-year license and maintenance plan.
Against a backdrop of growing ransomware damage among small and medium-sized enterprises, SAXA,Inc. will launch the GF2100 from its Office AGENT series in December 2026. The successor to the GF2000 comes standard with ransomware protection.
Among its main features, the GF2100 detects attacks on shared folders from infected PCs, blocks the attacks and automatically restores the files. This reduces the risk of data corruption.
When ransomware is detected, a ransomware infection diagnostics service will also be provided to assess the condition of the infected PC. In addition, a 7-year “Plus+” license and maintenance plan has been introduced to meet demand for long-term operation.
The background to the launch is that ransomware attacks were ranked the top organisational threat in the Information-technology Promotion Agency's 10 Major Information Security Threats 2026. The stated aim is to support business continuity at small and medium-sized enterprises.
