FunTech handled the entire production of the special website launched alongside Goodpatch’s 15th-anniversary website. It features innovative creative expression incorporating AI-powered treatments, a character and games.
Goodpatch launched a special website commemorating its 15th anniversary at the same time as its first corporate website refresh in 5 years. Creative production company FunTech handled the project, which is characterised by a creative rollout drawing on its strengths in 3D and video production.
The site’s theme is “Charge, Chaos,” intended to express the role of design in the age of AI. With AI use as a prerequisite, the site combines a large-scale first-view visual with multiple treatments, using AI to combine expressions based on 4 wave-themed types of assets.
The core content includes a concept film depicting the company’s journey since its founding, the “Over 30 AI Apps Gallery” featuring AI apps developed in-house using Claude, interview videos, an integration with the original character “Patchy,” and an interactive experience that turns the company timeline into a game. These were produced using AI, integrating video and interactive experiences.
The company explains that the site was completed in approximately 3 months using methods that enabled non-engineers to implement it, against a backdrop that included President Tsuchiya Naofumi (土屋 尚史)’s “Claude Code mandate.” It emphasises an approach centred on AI to enhance the overall scale and impact of the project.
