Items this document does not state (11)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. In the television broadcasting business, terrestrial advertising revenue expanded against a backdrop that included a triple crown in audience ratings, with spot advertising revenue showing particularly strong growth. In the internet business, digital advertising revenue, including from TVer, and content sales to services such as TELASA grew. Meanwhile, the shopping business reported lower profit as mail-order sales fell short of expectations, while the other businesses reported lower profit due to a decline following the previous year's event business and higher production costs for a new animated film.
