Items this document does not state (8)
These are items the company does not state in this document. We do not leave them blank, nor fill them in from other sources or by inference.
The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Domestic sales and inbound sales grew as a result of the renovations at Hankyu Main Store and Hanshin Umeda Main Store, with the department store business driving overall performance. The food business reported lower revenue and lower profit due to the pullback from the rice demand surge last year, weather conditions and changes in promotional activities, but this was offset by strong performance in the department store and commercial facilities businesses. The full-year forecast revisions reflect progress in each business, the impact of changes to the department stores' tax-free shopping system and the second-half forecast for the food business.
