The Group operates primarily through two businesses: synthetic resin processed products and machinery products. In response to changing market conditions in Japan and overseas, it seeks to secure earnings by developing and strengthening sales of high-value-added products and focusing on growth areas such as environmental applications and overseas markets. Its main business structure consists of two segments: the Synthetic Resin Processed Products Business and the Machinery Products Business. It conducts sales activities through overseas bases, including its Indonesian subsidiary, ハギハラ・ウエストジャワ・インダストリーズ社. During the interim consolidated accounting period from 1 November 2025 through 30 April 2026, net sales were ¥15,721 million, down 4.1% year on year, operating profit was ¥914 million, up 1.7%, ordinary profit was ¥1,143 million, up 17.5%, and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥776 million, down 35.9%. The main reason for the year-on-year decline was that the Company recorded an ¥800 million government subsidy as extraordinary income during the previous interim consolidated accounting period in connection with the construction of the Kasaoka Plant. The government subsidy income recorded as extraordinary income was ¥800,000 thousand.
