The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The purpose is to protect the Company's corporate value and the common interests of its shareholders, and to secure the information and time shareholders need to assess a proposal from a large-scale purchaser. As a research and development-driven company, it is important to provide an opportunity to evaluate medium- and long-term value, including the pipeline and relationships with stakeholders.
