Reason for the revision

Although the Shoes Business was slightly below plan, rental revenue and resale revenue in the Real Estate Business remained solid, and net sales are expected to exceed the previous forecast. Operating income is expected to fall below the previous forecast due to the increase in cost of sales resulting from a weaker yen than anticipated, while ordinary income is expected to fall below the previous forecast due to non-operating expenses including impairment losses on crypto assets. Interim net income is expected to fall below the previous forecast despite the recognition of a reversal of the provision for directors' retirement benefits as extraordinary income.

Previous-period resultsNet sales: ¥2,392 million; operating loss: ¥29 million; ordinary loss: ¥11 million; interim net loss: ¥13 million; interim net loss per share: ¥2.56 (second quarter of the fiscal year ended December 2025)

Although net sales in the Shoes Business were slightly below plan, rental revenue and resale revenue in the Real Estate Business remained solid, and net sales are expected to exceed the forecast. On the earnings front, the increase in the Shoes Business's cost of sales due to a weaker yen than anticipated, as well as non-operating expenses including impairment losses on crypto assets, affected results. Interim net income is expected to fall below the previous forecast despite the recognition of a reversal of the provision for directors' retirement benefits as extraordinary income.
