「Choisoko, a shared ride service operated in collaboration with local communities to address mobility challenges faced by older people and residents of areas without public transportation, has won the top award for the first time at the 5th Car, Culture, Society and Partnership Awards, hosted by the Japan Automobile Federation of Commerce and the Nihon Jidosha Shimbun. The service is now used in more than 90 municipalities, and was recognized for its contribution to addressing social issues, including child-rearing support and secondary transportation for tourism, through cooperation among private companies, local governments, local businesses and residents.」
