「In the hotel business, the declaration of a state of emergency and the implementation of priority preventive measures to contain the spread of the disease, due to the impact of COVID-19, reduced opportunities for weddings and banquets, and difficult conditions continued. While taking infection-prevention measures, we supported the holding of weddings and banquets and also pursued initiatives such as bento sales, Christmas cake sales and osechi sales. As a result, revenue increased 51.6% year on year to ¥524 million, while the operating loss was ¥182 million, compared with an operating loss of ¥317 million in the same quarter of the previous year.」
