- FY2026AdvancedAnnual report
「As a result of this change in accounting policy, compared with the previous method, operating profit, ordinary profit and profit before income taxes for the current consolidated fiscal year each increased by ¥153 million.」
The ¥153 million impact on operating profit, ordinary profit and profit before income taxes from changing the depreciation method from the declining-balance method to the straight-line method was disclosed in the full-year results. - FY2026-H1AchievedAnnual report
「Until now, we and our principal domestic consolidated subsidiaries had mainly used the declining-balance method to depreciate property, plant and equipment, excluding lease assets, but changed to the straight-line method from the current interim consolidated accounting period.」
Following an increase in capital expenditure, we reassessed how property, plant and equipment are used and changed the depreciation method from the declining-balance method to the straight-line method because stable operation is expected against a backdrop of firm demand. The impact on the interim consolidated financial statements is considered immaterial.
