Reason for the revision

Revenue is expected to fall below the previous forecast due to weak order acquisition from large companies in the instructor-dispatched training business, limited growth in DX services and tiered training, and a slowdown in the acquisition and use of Smart Pack points in the public courses business. Although SG&A reductions through the use of generative AI progressed as expected, operating profit is also expected to fall below the previous forecast in line with the revenue revision.

Previous-period resultsRevenue: ¥14,510 million; operating profit: ¥5,978 million; ordinary profit: ¥5,997 million; net income attributable to owners of the parent: ¥4,130 million; net income per share: ¥49.20
Dividend forecast revisionNo change. Unchanged from ¥35 per share announced on 21 July 2026, comprising a regular dividend of ¥29.5 and a commemorative dividend of ¥5.5.

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

Revenue is expected to fall below the previous forecast due to weak order acquisition from large companies in the instructor-dispatched training business, limited growth in DX services and tiered training, and a slowdown, mainly among large companies, in the acquisition and use of Smart Pack points in the public courses business. Although SG&A reductions through the use of generative AI progressed as expected, operating profit is also expected to fall below the previous forecast in line with the revenue revision.
