「The committee comprises the director overseeing the Administration Headquarters as chair and the heads of business divisions at each group company and other appropriate members. In principle, it meets after the end of each quarterly reporting period and may also meet on an ad hoc basis at the chair’s initiative to discuss, consider, make recommendations on and monitor basic sustainability policies and specific initiatives.」

It is promoting policies and target-setting and plans covering sustainability generally across the group.」
A new Sustainability Committee was established, and a framework was set out for the first time covering group-wide policies, target-setting and plan execution, as well as deliberation and oversight by the Board of Directors.
