「We held an interest equivalent to 20% of the shares of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, an associate in the smelting segment located in Indonesia. On 19 June 2020, we entered into a share transfer agreement with PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero), an Indonesian state-owned company, to sell part of our holding, equivalent to 5% of the shares issued by PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. The transfer was scheduled to be completed within six months of signing. In connection with the transfer, the existing joint operating agreement with Vale Canada Limited was to be terminated and a new agreement was to be entered into by three parties, including the purchaser.」
