「In our core banking field, orders temporarily declined after large-scale projects ended, creating a difficult business environment. However, in addition to software development projects related to ATMs in which we participated from the second quarter, we secured new projects and spent the year strengthening the business foundation for an earnings recovery from the next fiscal year onward.」
Banking remained weak after large projects ended, but ATM-related projects and new orders were secured. Revenue from Financial Services increased 14.1% year on year, demonstrating specific strengthening of the recovery foundation. - FY2026-H1First statedAnnual report
「In our core banking field, orders declined because of a gap between large-scale projects, and difficult conditions continue. In insurance and other fields, however, we steadily expanded the business through active sales activities, expansion of existing projects and acquisition of new projects. This was not enough to offset the decline in banking, leaving challenges for an overall recovery. Since the interim consolidated accounting period, we have newly participated in software development projects in the ATM field and won several new banking projects, and new developments toward an earnings recovery have become more active.」
Banking orders continued to decline because of a gap between large projects and could not be fully offset by growth in insurance and other areas. New ATM participation and several new banking projects are identified as potential recovery drivers.
