「We believe that people are our greatest asset and that securing and developing diverse talent will lead to higher corporate value over the medium to long term, so we actively hire experienced employees. We appoint experienced employees to management positions based on a comprehensive assessment of their qualifications and experience. However, women currently account for approximately 6% of all managers, which we recognize is insufficient. We will work to develop talent and improve the internal environment so that this proportion increases as women become core personnel in the Company.」
The company identified experienced-hire recruitment, promotion to management based on ability, and talent development and workplace improvements to increase the proportion of female managers as new sustainability initiatives.
