「From 1 April 2023, the Company and its domestic subsidiaries introduced an internal carbon pricing system that converts carbon emissions into a notional cost based on the Company's own standards for use as a reference in capital investment decisions. An internal carbon price of ¥18,000/t-CO2 was set, and the system will be used as one of the criteria for investment decisions to accelerate investments that help reduce carbon emissions, including low-carbon and decarbonization equipment and energy-saving investments.」
