「On 14 June, the company issued a press release on the Steel Erection Accuracy Management System “Erection Navi,” which three-dimensionally visualizes the accuracy of steel-frame erection and enables intuitive understanding. It also developed and introduced the Maeda Shield Integrated Management System (MAIOSS-Ⅱ), a company-wide common data platform for achieving Shield DX through the use of various data from shield construction.」

The Next-Generation Alpha System (provisional name) obtains on-site quality information through multiple IoT devices, including a self-propelled RI robot, the Alpha System, which automatically obtains ground stiffness from the acceleration response of a vibratory roller, and a 3D laser scanner that measures point-cloud data from compacted surfaces, and centrally consolidates and stores the information in a cloud system, thereby upgrading quality control for earthwork and improving productivity and DX implementation.」

「At “Civil Engineering and Construction Technology Development 2022,” hosted by the Japan Society of Civil Engineers on 8 November, the “Integrated ICT Earthwork Quality Management System (Next-Generation α System (tentative name)),” being jointly developed with OBAYASHI CORPORATION, received the Grand Prize for Best Presentation. The system centrally aggregates and stores on-site quality information obtained through multiple ICT devices in a cloud system. It enables multifaceted and precise on-site quality management, while allowing various users, including clients and designers, to visualize and analyze construction quality data online.」

「Beginning on 18 April, the Company started demonstration testing with 株式会社NTTドコモ toward the digital transformation of its road operations business. The testing includes detecting road cracks through AI image recognition, automating road repair planning, digitizing documents, and improving the efficiency of inquiry handling through speech recognition. Going forward, the Company will fully deploy the system in its road operations business, achieve fundamental improvements in operational efficiency, and accelerate DX.」

「The Company jointly developed and commercialized the traffic hazard detection system “AI SAVE™ (エーアイセーブ)” with 株式会社Create-C. A smartphone installed in a transport vehicle captures one forward-facing image per second. Based on approximately 720,000 images stored in the cloud, the system detects dangerous driving behavior and road conditions requiring attention and alerts the driver.」
