Business overview

The Group operates a chemical business as 田岡化学グループ, with organic synthesis technology at its core. Its principal businesses are chemicals, including fine chemicals, resin additives, functional materials, and pharmaceutical and agrochemical intermediates, as well as contract chemical analysis services. These businesses are conducted through an operating structure that includes affiliated companies. Revenue increased on higher shipments of resin materials, and fiscal 2025 saw higher revenue and profit despite the effects of resin material sales conditions, raw material price trends, and economic conditions in domestic and overseas markets. For fiscal 2026, profit is expected to decline due to lower shipments of resin materials and raw material price trends. Under the medium-term management plan “TCG as one 2027,” the Group aims to increase revenue, improve ROIC, and raise the sales ratio of new products. Its basic policies are to improve earnings power over the medium to long term, expand its production structure, strengthen research and development, promote DX, enhance employee engagement, and develop sustainability products.
