「It was discovered that an employee at the Osaka Branch of 株式会社産経旅行, a consolidated subsidiary of the company, had fraudulently obtained funds using fictitious customers and business partners. In response, the company and 株式会社産経旅行 established an external investigation team comprising lawyers and others with no interest in either company to conduct a detailed investigation. The company received the investigation report from the external investigation team on 9 December 2022, together with a report on the findings and recommendations for measures to prevent recurrence.」
