The large-format facility has 12 parking spaces on a site along a major road, and includes the deeply discounted Jeepers golf shop, a six-bay range equipped with the latest simulators and a craft workshop, with more than 500 of the latest clubs available for trial use. In addition to allowing customers to try these clubs freely and take indoor lessons from professionals, the workshop is well received because customers can immediately consult specialist club craftsmen about detailed custom orders, including shafts with popular sleeves, grip replacements, lie-angle and loft adjustments. The costs incurred for the opening temporarily reduced the golf business's operating results for the first quarter, but the number of indoor lesson members and golf-equipment sales have both been progressing faster than planned, and we expect to recover the investment at an early stage.」
