The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.Revenue from advertising operations services performed well, while paid-service revenue declined following the impact of the previous price revision. In the platform business, profitability improved through cost efficiencies and a temporary increase in demand, and sales of proprietary brands also expanded. However, selling, general and administrative expenses increased due to initial costs for branded products and upfront investment in NETSEA MallLive. In addition, revenue generated by NETSEA Auction in the previous year was absent following the service's termination, while proceeds from the sale of operating investment securities and other income in the incubation business fell short of the level recorded in the same period of the previous year.
