Reason for the revision

At Kushikatsu Tanaka, domestic company-operated same-store sales reached 114.6% of the prior-year period as a result of ongoing improvements in store QSC and the customer-attraction effects of the “Unlimited Skewers” series. PISOLA also contributed to sales through its expansion into the Kanto region and the expansion of its all-you-can-eat menu. Cost reductions from optimizing food procurement and improving logistics efficiency, together with the change in the goodwill amortization period from 10 years to 15 years, also boosted profit. At the same time, initial costs associated with the increase in new PISOLA openings are expected.

Previous-period resultsFull year of the fiscal year ended November 2025: net sales of ¥21,091 million, operating profit of ¥1,185 million, ordinary profit of ¥1,236 million, net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥744 million, and net income per share of ¥81.02

The reasons the company gives

The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers.

At the core Kushikatsu Tanaka restaurant chain, same-store sales grew as a result of ongoing improvements in store QSC and the customer-attraction effects of the “Unlimited Skewers” series. The expansion of PISOLA into the Kanto region and the expansion of its all-you-can-eat menu also contributed to higher sales. On the profit front, earnings were boosted by cost reductions from optimizing food procurement and improving logistics efficiency, as well as by changing the amortization period for goodwill from 10 years to 15 years. At the same time, initial costs associated with the increase in new PISOLA openings are expected.
