The reasons the company gives
The company's own explanation, not something inferred from the numbers. The main reasons for the increases in revenue and profit were an improved demand environment, growth in overseas clean energy-related business in the Fittings business, an increase in business related to semiconductor manufacturers, and an improvement in the Fittings business's operating margin. In the Disaster Prevention and Construction business, semiconductor construction-related business declined. The company cited the possibility of shortages of components and materials, production stoppages, shipment delays and logistics disruptions associated with geopolitical risks, including the situation in the Middle East, as the reasons for leaving the full-year forecast unchanged.
