「At a meeting of the Board of Directors held on 3 February 2020, we resolved to transfer our self-service gasoline station business and kerosene station business, collectively referred to as the gasoline and kerosene business, to Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. We entered into a business transfer agreement on the same date.」
In anticipation of a medium- to long-term decline in demand and supply due to improved fuel efficiency and a declining working-age population, it was decided that the gasoline and kerosene business would be transferred to Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. sequentially by store from 1 April to 20 June 2020. Revenue from the business was ¥13,614 million in the fiscal year ended June 2019, accounting for 9.1% of consolidated revenue.
