An individual business portfolio restructuring transaction in which the business was transferred to Idemitsu Kosan on a store-by-store basis, in anticipation of a medium- to long-term decline in gasoline and kerosene demand due to improved fuel economy and a declining working-age population. The transfers were completed between April and June 2020.
