Net sales in the WEB/application and business systems development fields grew approximately 21% year on year, mainly due to the inclusion of 株式会社理創 and プリサイス株式会社 in the consolidated accounts. Net sales in the embedded systems field increased approximately 3%, as solid performance in logistics systems-related business offset the impact of strategic reviews by OEMs in the automotive industry. The increase in operating income was limited to a slight rise because of acquisition costs and goodwill amortization associated with the acquisition of subsidiaries.
