「For the geothermal power generation equipment described above, the carrying amount of the assets related to the geothermal business was reduced to zero in the previous fiscal year because no future cash flows were expected from the geothermal power generation business. However, the contribution for grid connection construction costs was retained because its use in another business was being considered. After additional construction costs were incurred, the feasibility of using it in another business was examined. As no future cash flows were expected, its carrying amount was reduced to zero and the resulting ¥311 million reduction was recognized as an extraordinary loss.」
