Rationalization of Domestic Production Structure through Calbee’s Assumption of the Snack Manufacturing Business at Calbee Potato’s Obihiro Plant

A restructuring transaction under which Calbee, Inc. will assume the snack manufacturing business of Calbee Potato, Inc.’s Obihiro Plant through an absorption-type company split, with the aim of rationalizing and improving the efficiency of the Group’s production structure and strengthening its competitiveness in Japan.
